FAQ'S
HOW DO I SEND MY MILK?
Once you place your order, a link to full and detailed instructions on how and where to ship your breast milk will be displayed on your order confirmation page. You will also receive an automated e-mail with a link to the instructions.
Your breast milk can be easily shipped using a small box or padded envelope. Breast milk storage bags work great for shipping as they rarely leak in-transit, but if you don't have those, high-quality freezer bags work, as well. Only 1 ounce of breast milk is needed per jewelry piece (we can use less if necessary).
WHAT IS YOUR TURN-AROUND TIME?
The turn around time does not begin until I receive your inclusion. Currently our turn around time is 8 weeks.
WHAT TEMPERATURE DOES MY MILK NEED TO BE WHEN SENDING?
It actually works best if it is sent at room temperature so that it does not condensate in the mail. However it can be any age and any tempature.
CAN I USE SPOILED MILK?
We can use milk no matter how long it has sat out or how old. Our Preservation Process makes sure no drop goes wasted!
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I am in Indianapolis, IN! I ship orders worldwide!
DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?
Yes they can be purchased in any amount. An electronic gift card will be sent. If you request it be sent to another email address we can do that as well and physical gift cards are also available upon request.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Due to the nature of every piece being customized and crafted with your own inclusion we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.
DOES YOUR BREAST MILK JEWELRY CHANGE COLOR OVER TIME?
The great thing about Preservation Creation's breast milk jewelry is that it does NOT yellow or change color over time. Your breast milk jewelry will retain its color for as long as you have the piece.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY?
All sterling silver tarnishes, which is a natural chemical reaction in silver which first appears as a golden color and eventually turns black. It can easily be cleaned however and does not affect the quality of your jewelry or harm your skin. The following tips can prevent and/or clean tarnish if it has formed.

-Store jewelry in an airtight bag when not wearing it.

-Avoid exposure to moisture and chemicals such as lotions, perfumes etc. Just take it off to apply lotions. (This rule applies to all your jewelry, not just ours!)

-Toothpaste is a good homemade jewelry cleaner. Take a small amount of regular toothpaste, work it into a lather on the affected piece of jewelry, lightly rubbing it, and then rinse with water. DO NOT allow the toothpaste to come in contact with the stones, just the setting itself. If you want to polish any stones we recommend using a product such as Flitz which can be found on Amazon or any local department store.
